How QuackPort Works
Every duck has a story. π¦
Every QuackPort duck starts its journey when its owner releases it into the wild β left on a park bench, tucked aboard a cruise ship, slipped onto a hotel shelf, or hidden anywhere an adventurous soul might wander. Each duck carries a unique QR code printed right on it.
A lucky finder spots the duck and scans the QR code with their phone camera. They land on the duck's public passport page where they can see its entire travel history β every city, country, and person that's been part of its journey so far.
With a free QuackPort account, the finder logs their location β city, country, even GPS coordinates. They can leave a message and attach a photo. That stop is added to the duck's travel record and the owner gets a notification that their duck was found.
The finder passes the duck along β leaves it somewhere new for the next person to discover. The duck keeps traveling, collecting stops, messages, and photos along the way. Over time its passport fills with places it never could have imagined.
Every duck has a live map showing its route, a full history of every stop, miles traveled, countries visited, and days in the wild. The owner gets notified every time their duck is found. Anyone can follow along on the global Migration Map.
